Day 22 - King's Point
This morning we drove for about 1 1/2 hours to King's Point. We had lunch at their waterfront and were going to visit their 52 foot articulated humpback whale skeleton, but it was already closed for the season. We then did an 8 km hike with 2000 stair steps and 1000 feet of elevation at the Alexander Murray Memorial Trail in King's Point. It was intense but worth the effort. We saw a grouse, lots of mushrooms and there were at least 3 waterfalls. It took almost 3 hours. Then we registered at the local municipal campground and we have a lovely spot overlooking the bay. It is quite new and the facilities are wonderful. The laundromat is free, so I did one load of laundry.
